In the meantime, we looked back on our time here in TX and found some fun things that TX has to offer and thought we'd share those with you.

The Riverwalk in San Antonio - we went there the weekend Karen moved out to TX, which just so happened to be her birthday weekend!

Shortly thereafter, for John's birthday, we went to the clay court semifinals in Houston to watch Agassi take on Grosjean. Agassi lost. :(
Then, we went open top kayaking on Lake Conroe - we had to go early in the morning
before the heat of the day drove us out.
We also had the opportunity to spend a weekend at a ranch in Brady, TX, with some good friends of ours from CO.
After hunkering down in the home for 5 months of Texas Big Heat, fall came! Oh yeah, we avoided a class 5 hurricane somewhere in there and relocated to Dallas for a couple days with 3.5 million other Houstonians.
And we can' t forget Thanksgiving with all of Karen's family at our house! We figured the house we have in TX is probably the largest house we will live in, so we invited everyone to come join us, and they did. :)
Finally, we decided that we had to go see the bluebells that are so famous in TX. Unfortunately, we didn't have our personal photographer with us that day, so we had to settle for some distant shots of us.

And what was the most fun thing that's happened since we've been in TX? We became a family when Elijah David was born! :)
