Since we were in GA for New Year's, we tagged along with my sister's family to a party...it was at a furniture store. The owners invite all of their friends and family to hang out, everyone brings food to share, the TV room is set to the football games, and the kids are allowed to run around the store. Crazy, huh? Here's Aunt Amy reading to Eli and Lindsey Beth playing with Maddie on the chairs. :)
Of course, once we left the party, we had to have some fireworks at home. The kids loved the sparklers. Eli wanted to hold his own and, after getting over the shock that we actually let him hold something that was on fire, he loved it and didn't want them to go out. (Do you see my little hooded boy waiting with all the big kids to get his sparkler lit?!?) We also sat around the TV to watch the ball drop and see that crazy motorcycle stunt (which never really comes on until like 1am!). It was fun to bring in the New Year with family!
