Up until the last few weeks when it's been so HOT, we went almost weekly to the zoo with some good friends that had season passes! Eli LOVES the zoo and, therefore, so do the rest of us. :) Anytime you ask him where he's going, he says "the zoo." And if you ask him what animals he wants to see, it's the giant apes, giraffes, elephants, and monkeys.
His other favorite things to do are to ride on the train and the carousel. As Maddie has gotten older, she's also enjoyed the trips to the zoo. She would kick her little legs with glee as she got close to the animals. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our many trips to the zoo.

Can you tell how much my "little" boy and girl have grown over the last several months?? Notice my tuckered out little girl in the last picture. She just couldn't keep her eyes open for one more minute!

that picture of maddie is hilarious. we have one of katie like that at disney world, she was about the same age.
