OK, sorry to leave that hanging out there...Maddie had a urachal remnant that had to be removed. In laymen's terms, her bladder was still partially connected to her belly button and that's not good. She's doing well now and there shouldn't be any long terms effects, it was just nerve racking having your baby go under general anesthesia! Maddie was a champ, though, she waited so patiently even though she wasn't allowed to eat and she came out of the anesthesia almost imemdiately and had a fairly quick recovery - hooray! :) So, now we can move on and pray that she won't have any other issues.
