THE CABIN
We finally got up to John's parents' cabin last weekend. It was so beautiful and relaxing and nice to get away for a few days. Eli LOVED the cabin - he thought he owned the place...he ran around the rooms checking everything out and squealing. He showed us all of the things that we would need to put out of his reach. John would take him out and tell him all about the trees and the animals. Elijah loves being outside - we went on walks and he just jabbered away and kept pointing at everything (he only points with his middle finger, by the way).
The last two days that we were there we actually got several inches of snow and it was so pretty with the aspens dusted with white - a little winter wonderland in May.THE ZOO
Elijah also got to visit the zoo for the first time! We went with his good friend Kinsley. Since he will look where you point now, he was actually able to see the animals. He really wanted to climb in with them, but had fun watching them up in close instead. :)
